Do I need a permit for a yard/garage sale?
 No, there is no permit required for a yard/garage sale.

Can I put up a sign for a yard/garage sale?

You may post signs on private property, however, signs may not be placed in the public right-of-way, which includes trees, utility poles, benches or fences.  For more information on posting signs, please refer to Section 17.75.030 of the Rocklin Municipal Code.

I want to buy city surplus goods.
The City currently sends surplus goods to auction for disposal. The current auctions are held in Benicia, California by the Nationwide Auction Company. For information regarding what and when the City of Rocklin will be sending surplus to auction, contact the City's Fleet Division at 916.625.5040.

When is the next city auction?
The City of Rocklin declares surplus twice a year.  Auctions are typically held in January and July.  The City of Rocklin contracts with Nationwide Auction Systems. Contact the City's Fleet Division at 916.625.5040 for more information.

How do I contact a Council member?

Will the City of Rocklin accept a resume and/or employment application for future positions or positions not listed under "Job Openings"?
The City only accepts employment applications for positions listed under "Job Openings," and does not keep applications for future positions. A City of Rocklin employment application is required for all job openings. Resumes are not accepted without a City employment application.

Where do I go to obtain or renew my passport?

Where can I get a Passport in Rocklin?
