Jubilee Festivities About the Jubilee... The tradition began in 1968 when a group of local citizens formed a committee to plan a festival to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Rocklin's incorporation, which was called the Diamond Jubilee. This marked the beginning of Rocklin's Jubilee history with an estimated 10,000 visitors attending that inaugural festival in 1968. The Rocklin Jubilee provides local businesses sponsorship opportunities and non-profit groups an excellent opportunity for fundraising. It is a day for families and residents, both young and old, to celebrate a grand Rocklin tradition.
Mission Statement The Rocklin Jubilee is the city’s largest community celebration and a cooperative effort between the City of Rocklin, its citizens, community organizations and businesses. The goal of the Rocklin Jubilee is to: promote and enhance community spirit, offer a wide range of experiences and activities for all community members, and to honor the great community in which we live! |
