Senior Nutrition
Lunch anyone? The Senior Café, a branch of Senior Independent Services, holds a daily lunch program at the Rolling Oaks Apartments, a senior complex located at 5725 Shannon Bay Drive.

• Monday through Friday at 11:30 am
• Suggested donation is $2.50 for those age 60+

Reservations must be made by 12:30 pm the day before. To make a reservation, please call Ann Oliver at the Senior Café at 916.622.1295 or call the County's main office at 530.889.9500 ext. 210.

AARP Tax Aid
For no-cost income tax return preparation with electronic filing, seniors and low to moderate income residents are invited to call to make an appointment with an AARP tax advisor to prepare your personal tax return.

• Please call 916.625.5223 to schedule an appointment
• Appointments are typically made from the first week of January - the end of March.
• Appointment dates range from February 4 – April 14, 2008.
• Appointments are scheduled approximately every hour

Placer County Health Services will be giving flu vaccinations. If you have any questions, call the Flu Hotline at 530.889.7161.
