Preschool Curriculum

• Rocklin Preschool's motto is that "Everyday is a Party!"
• We offer your child the following educational experiences in a party atmosphere:
  • Kindergarten readiness preparation
  • Language Development
  • Socialization
  • Daily activities that include:
  • science
  • music/circle time
  • directed learning
  • hands-on-exploration
  • art projects
  • themed lesson plans
  • cooking activities
  • All teachers meet the state requirements for Early Childhood Education units.
• The preschool has five sites which all follow identical philosophies and lesson plans.
• Parker Whitney, Rock Creek and Ruhkala Preschool sites in partnership with the Rocklin Unified School District are dedicated to providing services to both typically developing children and children with special needs in an inclusive preschool program.
• All sites consist of two classes of three-year-olds and two classes of four-year-olds broken down into these age categories:

  A new, exciting opportunity for two and young three-year-olds to have the preschool experience in an age-appropriate setting.

• Class enrollment:
  • *NEW Playschool*
    Up to 18 children with 3 teachers in the 2-year-old & young 3-year-old class
  • Up to 24 children per class with 3 teachers in 3-year-old classes
  • Up to 27 children per class with 3 teachers in 4-year-old classes
• The Preschool year runs from August 18, 2008 through June 5, 2009

Enrollment Requirements

• Completed Fall 2008-2009 Registration Form
  and/or completed Fall 2008-2009 Playschool Registration Form
• Children must be potty-trained
• $75.00 non-refundable registration fee
• Monthly tuition fees:
  $19.00 per day for Rocklin Residents
  $23.00 per day for Non-Rocklin Residents
• Copy of birth certificate
• Copy of immunization records
• Copy of Parent's proof of auto insurance
• Signed Parent Agreement from the Parent Handbook
