Rocklin Children's Art Club
Students attend this class once a week and are introduced to all media, such as: Watercolor, Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastel, Clay Sculpture, Mixed Media and Collage. The students will learn different techniques, application of many media and also learn about Artists in art history, and tools of the Arts. Students will learn how to do Sketching, Cartooning, Drawing,and more. Each month we will have a different subject and an Artist to learn about. All skill levels are welcome.

Fashion Design 101
Decorate a tote bag to show everyone that "fashion is your bag". Demonstrations, information and hands-on introduction to fashion. This course is the prerequisite for the other classes in the series. $7 material fee payable to instructor on the first day of class.

Fashion Drawing 101
Learn to draw the fashion figure working in black and white. You will learn about proportion and basic stances to create your own drawing croquis. $2 material fee payable to instructor on the first day of class.

Fashion Drawing 201
Using the fashion figure you will learn to put your fashion designs on paper. Colored pencils will be used to add dimension, details, pattern, and color. Don't forget the accessories! $3 material fee includes paper and pencil payable to instructor on the first day of class. Prerequisite: Fashion Drawing 101.

Fashion Drawing 301
Watercolor is introduced as a medium to shade and to create colored effects. Textures and fabric rendering will be explored. $3 material fee payable to instructor on the first day of class. Prerequisite: Fashion Drawing 201.

Rocklin Fine Arts
The Rocklin Fine Arts group meets on the third Thursday of the month at the Rocklin Event Center, Room 104 from 10am-12noon. This past year the group has hosted some very talented local artists attend meetings to speak on their craft.

Rocklin Fine Arts-City of Rocklin's art group's (formerly Art Matters) mission is to encourage the awareness of fine arts in our area through education, promotion and support of local artists. Rocklin Fine Arts is dedicated to accomplish this by presenting an annual membership Spring Art Show and participate in other events throughout the community.
