New Site for Seniors!
The City of Rocklin Active Adult Program has moved to the Fifth Street Recreation Center, 5484 Fifth Street, in Johnson-Springview Park. The new site consists of a large room with full kitchen and adjoining smaller room. All Membership programs are held here.
Active Adult Membership
TheActive Adult membership program is a great opportunity to meet otherseniors, socialize and stay active in a group setting. Memberships arerenewed annually and are valid January-December. Ages 50+
There will be no fee for the 2012 membership program.

Each Wednesday from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the Fifth Street Recreation Center, come with your friends and enjoy a free afternoon movie. Movie selections are advertised in the Rec Center. Free snacks provided by Eskaton.

AARP Driver Safety Classes
This AARP refresher course, for drivers 50+ years emphasizes SAFETY. Learn how age changes your driving skills. Learn to cope with normal as well as hazardous driving situations. Learn how roadway conditions, signs, signals, vehicle safety, alcohol and medications affect the mature driver. Participants receive a DMV certificate for a possible reduction in insurance premium. A $14 check made out to AARP is due to instructor at first class for materials. Please arrive on time. Ages 50+

Country Line Dances
Know how to stomp, slide, kick and vine? Join Norm Gifford and Phyllis Finn in these monthly dances, usually held the first Friday of the month. If you are a newcomer or veteran, the Wild Horse crew welcomes you to dance. If you need extra attention in getting started, they will work with you between 7:30 - 8:15 pm. If you have the steps down and need a fast lively tune to challenge you, you are in the right place. Enjoy hot new country music and a sound system that rocks. Everyone has a good time and a great workout too. Give it a try!

Stretch and Fitness
This class offers strength building, toning, and increased flexibility for the more mature body. It combines warm up, easy stretches, non-aerobic movement, floor exercises, and quiet cool down for a fun and relaxing workout every mature adult body needs. Class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for a full health regimen.
