Neighborhood Police

Neighborhood PoliceNeighborhood policing, or Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS), is a process of uniting business owners, property owners, residents, and City departments. This collaborative problem-solving effort addresses visible signs of disorder, neighborhood deterioration and criminal activity within the City of Rocklin.

Officer Natalie Constable, Rocklin's first Neighborhood Police Officer, speaks with residents and listens to their concerns. She works together with community members and partners from other departments and agencies to identify ways to make their neighborhoods better places to live.

Working closely with beat officers, neighborhood officers will be the primary point of contact between the police department and citizens. The neighborhood officer works closely with internal and external resources to resolve chronic problems, initiate comprehensive clean up efforts to improve living conditions, enforce fire, municipal, and other codes, target criminals, and actively recruit community members to help achieve the goals of the COPPS program.
