A dead bat, recently discovered in the backyard of a Rocklin resident in the 2700 block of Klamath Drive, tested positive for rabies. Upon discovery, the resident did the right thing and contacted Rocklin Animal Control. The bat was taken to Placer County Animal Services in Dewitt Center, Auburn, and was submitted for lab testing. | Two Loomis juveniles were arrested in Rocklin after stealing a wallet from a vehicle in Folsom. The victim was attending the Del Oro High School vs. Folsom High School football game last Friday night, December 4th, and the juveniles used the stolen credit cards multiple times before being caught. | On November 16, 2009, a Sierra College student’s bicycle worth $1000 was stolen from his truck while parked in the college’s dorm parking lot. He reported the theft to a Rocklin Police who recently began to patrol the campus as part of a contract for police services that was established between the Rocklin Police Department and Sierra College.
