| | | Newsroom | A 4th Street resident interrupted a burglar inside his home on Saturday afternoon. The suspect fled with the homeowner's loaded firearm until he was confronted by a Rocklin police officer nearby. The suspect is wanted in connection with dozens of Bay Area burglaries, where he is known as the Frisbee Bandit because he uses a "lost my Frisbee" ruse when confronted in homeowners' backyards.

| 23 year old Rocklin Resident Casey Proctor was arrested by Rocklin police officers after he ran from the scene of a residential burglary with officers in pursuit. The chase and search took place through back yards and a golf course near Stanford Ranch Rd. and Sunset. Police K-9s and aircraft assisted in the search.
