Rocklin’s New Red Light Enforcement Intersection
In an effort to reduce collisions and make city streets safer, the Rocklin Police Department added a new intersection at Rocklin Road and Interstate 80 to the Red Light Photo Enforcement Program on June 6th, 2008.  The camera monitors W/B Rocklin Road traffic at the on-ramp and off-ramp from W/B Interstate 80.

Police Arrest Drunk Driver After Hit and Run Collision
On July 23, 2008, at about 8:10 PM Rocklin Police responded to the area of the 7-11 Food Mart located at Sierra College Blvd. and Granite Drive for a report of a vehicle into the building. A secondary report of a Hit and Run collision was also being reported in the area of Sierra College Blvd. and the new I-80 Overpass a very short distance away.
