Crime Rate per Capita Rocklin continues to be one of the safest cities in Placer County and in the Sacramento Region. Rocklin experienced 23.7 Part 1 crimes per 1,000 people during 2007. 
Part I crimes include violent and property crimes reported monthly to the State of California Department of Justice. Violent part 1 crimes include murder, rape, robbery and aggravated assault. Property related part 1 crimes include burglary, auto theft, larceny and arson. |
