New Police Facility

The Rocklin Police Department moved into a new $15 million, state-of-the-art 40,000 square foot facility on June 8, 2005. The new facility is designed specifically to enhance the city's ability to provide daily service and emergency protection to the residents of Rocklin.

The state of the art facility includes a 24-hour, full-service public lobby, a spacious multi-purpose community room that will serve as a meeting place for the public, a training room for city employees and a command center in times of emergency.

A newly designed
911-dispatch center will increase our officer's ability to respond in a quick and coordinated manner to the needs of the city. "Live Scan" equipment will provide fingerprint services to the community for background and job screening requests. Other significant improvements have been made to records, evidence processing, and storage as well as the detention area.
