Chief Ron Lawrence has been a law enforcement officer since 1990, and was appointed to Chief of Police in Rocklin on April 1, 2011, after serving with a few law enforcement agencies throughout Northern California.
Chief Lawrence has a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Leadership from Saint Mary’s College. He attended the F.B.I. National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and is a graduate of the California P.O.S.T. Command College for law enforcement executives.
