Fire Incident Reports

Who can get a copy of a fire incident report?
With certain exceptions, most Rocklin Fire Department incident reports are available for public inspection and are released through the Fire Department's Administrative Office only.

You must be an "involved party" (or a parent of a minor child) in order to obtain a copy of a fire incident report.

    Police ReportsWho is an "involved party?"
    The following are examples of involved parties. You will be required to present identification to verify your "involved party" status.

    • person or party mentioned in the report
    • property owner
    • attorney
    • insurance provider, etc.


    When are reports available?

    Most fire incident reports are available for release 10 working days after the incident.
