Is my property located in a floodplain? 
For a fee, the Engineering Department can provide a Flood Zone Designation Letter

The  City of Rocklin offers the FEMA Firm map for public viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday if you would like to determine your designation for yourself. You may also visit FEMA’s website at www.fema.gov.

Who do I call about a flashing traffic signal or a street light that is out? 
All questions regarding street lights and traffic signals should be directed to the City of Rocklin Public Works at 916.625.5500.

What methods of erosion control should I use?
Best Management Practices (BMPs), as outlined in NPDES and by the latest edition of the California Storm Water Quality Association's Stormwater Best Management Practice Handbooks, should be used as the guidelines for erosion control methods.

How can I obtain copies of Engineering documents and plans?
Fill out a public records request form outlining all the information that you require and fax it to Engineering at FAX 916.625.5195.  Your request will be processed and you will be notified when the documents are ready.
