Vice Mayor Peter Hill

Peter Hill has served on the Rocklin City Council for 25 years and has been Mayor five times. His present term ends in November 2008. Peter serves on the: - Placer County Air Pollution Control District Board

A former Rocklin School Board Trustee and a former Placer County Planning Commissioner, Peter previously served on the Western Placer Waste Authority Board, the Placer County Charter Commission, the County Committee for School District Organization, and was Chair of the Policy Committee for Highway 65 Construction. Peter has lived in Rocklin for 31 years. A retired regional planner, Hill graduated from Sierra College (AA), Sacramento State College (BA), and the University of Northern Colorado (MA). He served in the Navy from 1956 to 1959. He has been married to his wife Janet for 45 years and has two married sons and two grandchildren who live in Rocklin.
