Kathy Lund

Kathy Lund was first elected in 1985. She has served six one-year terms as Mayor: 1989, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2003, and 2007. Kathy and her family have lived in Rocklin since 1976. Her children went to Rocklin schools, and now her grandchildren attend Rocklin schools as well.
Kathy is a co-founder of South Placer Women’s Leadership Coalition. In March 2007, Governor Schwarzenegger appointed Kathy to the State Mining and Geology Board. Kathy also serves on: - The Placer County Transportation Planning Agency

Kathy has also served on the Placer County Economic Development Board: the Highway 65 JPA, SACOG; the League of California Cities Transportation, Communication & Public Works Committee; along with many regional and local committees. Awards and Recognition In 2009, Rocklin Kiwanis named Kathy "Community Citizen of the Year". In 2001, Assemblyman Tim Leslie named Kathy “Woman of the Year”. In 1996, Kathy was awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution’s “Excellence in Community Service Award”. In 1993, Rocklin/Roseville Women in Business recognized Kathy as a “Woman of Achievement”.
