Volunteer In Rocklin

The City of Rocklin hosts a variety of events that are largely made possible through the generous support of volunteers and sponsors. Volunteers may choose to be involved in any number of events that take place throughout the year.

Rocklin Community Service Day - October 11, 2008
Rocklin is a wonderful place to live. Have you ever wondered why? It's the people. People like you and your neighbors who genuinely care about this community. We're asking you to show just how much you care by participating in the first annual Rocklin Community Service Day, Saturday, October 11, 2008.

Trick-or-Treat Fair - October 31, 2008
The Trick-or-Treat Faire takes place every Halloween on October 31st at the Rocklin Sunset Center. This free event provides a safe alternative to Trick-or-Treating door to door. Volunteers are needed to pass out candy.

Breakfast with Santa - December 6, 2008
Breakfast with Santa is a popular event that takes place each December at the Rocklin Sunset Center. Children and their families enjoy breakfast with Santa and have an opportunity to take part in many fun activities. Volunteers are needed to help with service and activities.

Holiday Concert - December 17, 2008
A holiday concert will be held on December 17, 2008 at the Sunset Center. The concert will feature bands from both Rocklin and Whitney High School playing everyone's favorite holiday music. Tickets are only $5.00 at the door. Volunteers are needed for set up, ticket sales, and clean up.

Creek Week, April 18-26, 2009
Creek Week is an annual event organized by a committee of local schools, businesses, agencies and watershed groups to celebrate the importance of our urban nature areas with volunteer work and educational events. Activities typically include tree planting, creek and open space clean up, removal of invasive plant species, and other maintenance in and around creeks and watersheds. The next event is April 18-26, 2009.

Volunteer at the Rocklin JubileeRocklin Jubilee, June 26, 2009
The annual Rocklin Jubilee attracts more than 25,000 visitors to Johnson Springview Park each summer. This has become one of the most popular Rocklin events. A wide variety of family activities take place including; a parade, pancake breakfast, crafts, children and teen activities, entertainment, talent show, and so much more. A fireworks extravaganza sets off the climatic end to this event. Volunteers are needed to fill many roles. Volunteers are needed to provide numerous services.
