In accordance with the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, this district was formed following public hearings and landowner elections and approved by more than a two-thirds majority. All taxes are incurred annually. They are levied/collected at the same time as property taxes.

Sunset West Community Facilities District No. 6
	Formed:	1998
	Provides:	Installation, construction, and acquisition of drainage facilities and open space as specified in the General Development Plan for Sunset West - also includes provisions to fund services related to open space and storm drainage facilities maintenance These facility improvements have been completed.
	Territories:	Varied
	Tax Amount:	Dependent on the original large lots from which a parcel was subdivided. The maximum tax for the service portion of the special tax has the ability to increase by 4% per year in order to compensate for inflation.
	Expiration Date:	Fiscal year 2024-2025 for the repayment of bonds The service portion of the special tax does not have an expiration date.
