The City of Rocklin Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 and Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. 2 were formed in accordance with the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.

Lighting Maintenance District No. 1

	Provides:	Maintenance of streetlights and safety lighting throughout various portions of the City including over 1,300 streetlights and traffic signals at over 20 intersections.

	Provides:	Maintenance of streetlights, safety lighting, and roadway landscaping throughout various portions of the City which includes over 2,100 streetlights, traffic signals at over 42 intersections, and over 50 roadway landscaping irrigation systems.

	Tax Amount:	Based upon an annual Engineer's Report which analyzes the benefit derived from the landscaping and lighting maintenance in defined zones throughout the district's area The Engineer's Report also factors in the designated use of individual parcels within a zone in calculating the assessment.
