Assessment Districts

The Granite Drive Assessment District was created pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, Division 12 and confirmed by the City Council in July of 1987.

The Monte Verde/Sierra College Assessment District was created pursuant to proceedings taken under the Refunding Act of 1984 for 1915 Improvement Act Bonds.

Assessments are levied/collected annually at the same time as property taxes for repayment of improvement bonds.

Provides:Street, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water service, utilities and street light improvements providing benefit to the properties located within the district’s boundaries.

These improvements have been completed.

Monte Verde/Sierra College Assessment District
Monte Verde/Sierra College Road DistrictCreated:1984
Provides:Construction and installation of sewer lines, water lines, and storm drainage improvements to Rocklin Road and Sierra College Boulevard. It also funded traffic signal and improvements at the Rocklin Road/Sierra College Boulevard intersection.

These improvements have been completed.
