Are bicycles allowed on sidewalks?
Section 21100 CVC (California Vehicle Code) authorizes local authorities to enact certain restrictions with regards to the operation of bicycles, amongst others. Currently the City of Rocklin has not adopted a Municipal Code which restricts bicyclists on a sidewalk. This explanation only applies to the City of Rocklin as any local agency may enact such a law. Yes, in Rocklin you are allowed a maximum total of 3 dogs per residence. Pot-bellied Pigs are counted along with dogs in determining the maximum number allowed. For example, if you have 1 pig, you may have no more than 2 dogs.

The City of Rocklin does not license cats.
Dog licenses can be obtained at the Police Department located at 4080 Rocklin Road. Business hours are Monday - Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Friday 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
You will need to provide proof of current rabies vaccination. If your dog has been spayed or neutered, you will receive a discounted license fee. You must provide something from your vet indicating that your dog has been spayed or neutered to receive this discount.
