  • A new 2008 City Services fee schedule is available. The new fees will go into effect September 9, 2008. For more information, contact the Finance Division at 916.625.5020.


  • e-Commerce Fully Launched
    The City of Rocklin has fully launched e-commerce in our Community Services & Facilities (CS&F) Department. Residents can now register and pay online using credit or debit cards for services. Plans are underway to enable business e-commerce applications online, starting with online business license renewals, beginning in the fall of 2008.


  • HdL, a company that audits the City's property tax data, recently provided a property tax report to the City.
    • Gross Assessed Valuation up 8.7% vs. 10.2%, the prior year
    • Net Taxable Value up 8.6% vs. 10.8%, the prior year
    • Residential valuation represents 75% of total city assessed value with commercial next at 10%, and industrial at 5%


  • Rocklin website wins Horizon Global Award for interactive features.

  • SMA America, Inc. moved to Rocklin in May, 2008. This German-based company manufacturers solar inverters for photovoltaic systems.
