Imagine… Downtown Rocklin as an authentic walking village, where tree-lined streets and vibrant storefronts provide comfortable, safe environments for residents and visitors to stroll and enjoy the community’s small town charm.

The City has completed the Conceptual Downtown Rocklin Plan including the:

• Downtown Rocklin Plan Regulating Code
• Downtown Rocklin Plan Implementation Plans

The new Downtown Rocklin Plan will help the City articulate an overall strategy and action plan to promote, develop, redevelop and revitalize the downtown area.

The Community Development Department has commenced work to incorporate this conceptual plan into the overall General Plan update Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The draft General Plan including the EIR is expected to be adopted by the end of this calendar year.
