During economic growth, the City Council built reserves to protect municipal services. The City today faces economic uncertainty with the ability to maintain its commitment to public safety, parks and recreation, transportation and environmental protection.
We are focused on maintaining a strong local economy and protecting natural resources. For example, Rocklin is the first California city to offset its carbon footprint through PG&E's ClimateSmart program, and the Police Department is producing 35 percent of its energy using solar power.
